Me Old China!

Every now and again we all have to take stock and we are no exception, we have been putting it off due to the weather situation but

the sun did shine so we have taken full advantage and all the Devon stock came out! Well when I say all, its only the trios that I have catalogued still have tea pots, milk jugs, sugar bowls, teaspoons.................!!

These two glamorous beauties arrived yesterday. They are by Royal Standard. I only have the cups, and they look lovely displayed with my books. But they will be used, I think they are perfect for an afternoon cuppa!

This is me and my brother in Islington, London in 1969. Good luck to all children starting school this week. Do you remember your first day at school?

It's been a while!

The summer holidays are almost over -  so time to stock take.
This summer has not been terribly kind to those of us who relish a garden party, but with the sun set to shine over the next few days it will give me an opportunity to photograph all my china in the garden......and there maybe a chance to catch up with friends for an afternoon tea......this china just begs to be used!!!
